The shutdown has had a negative impact on so many of our federal workers, contractors, military, as well as many nonprofit organizations. It is a shame that while the government shut down the politicians continued to get paid, yet there were so many families stressing over the fact that they did not know how they were going to make ends meet, especially in a one family income home. Military personnel were not sure if they were going to have health benefits or receive their pensions.
I hope the resolution is well thought out so it can be rectified. Once again, charities came to the rescue to support those in needs. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/news/government-shutdown/
