RPM Ministry Event: GPS To A Joyful Marriage

After getting married do you notice your princess or prince charming is not everything you thought they would be? Do you find yourself wondering whether or not the grass would be greener on the other side if you got a divorce? Well, think no more! The novelty of marriage often wears out when responsibility sets in and children are added to the mix. Unfortunately, this couple experienced much heartache in order to get to where they are in their relationship today.

Sandee Lester and Rick Lester of Spring Hill, Fla., have been married for thirty-three years. They created the Resurrection Power Marriage Ministry, which is a non-profit organization. Their program addresses the issues they have discovered to cause the most problems in marriage. RPM Ministry will be hosting a marriage seminar titled GPS To A Joyful Marriage beginning the end of June through October. This seminar will be held throughout the Tampa Bay Area as well as other states.

Sandee stated, “In our seminars, both Rick and I share what we have learned through the hardships in our own marriage and through the help of God and His Word.” Sandee also emphasized, “Through years of counseling and studying material about marriage, we have come up with four areas that seem to be the most troublesome in marriages. These areas are Communication (the number one issue that affects every other area), Love and Respect, Intimacy (Physical and Emotional) and Priorities. We’ve taken scripture from the Bible and applied them to these areas, creating sound advice for any married couple.” Unfortunately, in today’s society divorce does not discriminate. In the article, Religion, War, and the Missing Culture War in America Mark Smith stated, “divorce has come to affect Christians at rates comparable to the rest of the population.”

Mark both of these events in your calendar because on October 3, 2014, Sandee Lester will be speaking to the women at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla., and will share her personal testimony which reinforces that there is hope in restoring marriages and relationships. Also, on October 10, 2014, both Rick and Sandee Lester will be speaking to couples and providing them with the necessary tools and advice for a healthy marriage and healthy family. You will not want to miss out on this life-changing event.
